Once again we teamed up with our good mates at Fishing & Adventure and put together the ‘Hirepool Big Little Fishing Adventure’ competition. We received hundreds of photos, videos and stories from across Aotearoa this year and the only thing stopping us from more winners was the size of the boat!
We love hearing from kiwi kids about their love of fishing, whether it’s off a boat or off the rocks or wharf. This adventure will give five young fishos (and their caregivers) the opportunity to join Scott and Mig from Fishing and Adventure for an awesome day’s fishing out on the Hauraki Gulf.

For many of these fishing fanatics, it will be their first time fishing off a boat, so no doubt the excitement levels will be high. They’ll be also be taking home some sweet fishing gear which includes an Okuma rod & reel combo, a Black Magic tackle pack and some sweet F&A merch.
Hirepool wants to give a big thank you to all the other entries. The experience will be back in 2022 so stay tuned for some great footage of this year's adventure and next year’s call for entries.
