It’s no secret that the Hirepool team loves products that align with our commitment to environmental stewardship. So, when we caught wind of Takeuchi’s latest innovation, we just had to add it to our offering. 

We're excited to announce the arrival of the TB20e Compact Excavator, an all-electric, battery-powered compact hydraulic excavator; this high-productivity and dependable machine demonstrates its Takeuchi pedigree through and through.

The beauty of the TB20e is that it’s a zero-emissions and low-noise excavator that delivers the same performance features and capabilities as a diesel-powered machine but with reduced operating costs. And because the only sound it produces comes from its motor and pumps, it’s ideal for use in areas with noise and emissions restrictions.

Powered by a lithium-ion battery, the TB20e has a continuous working range of up to eight hours, depending on application and environment. With both an on and off-board charger, operators can charge the machine during breaks and at the end of the workday or while tethered. And, with no engine nor the need for fuel filters, engine oil, engine oil filters or coolant, the TB20e is a maintenance dream.

And as for the operator's cockpit, how does a 4.3-inch, high-definition, multifunction monitor, electrohydraulic joystick controls, key start, comfortable suspension seat, traditional travel and blade control levers and an electronic dial throttle sound?
