The boys are back in town! That’s right, Scott and Mig from Fishing and Adventure are returning to our screens on Sunday the 2nd of August. We’re stoked to be on board with them again this year as the major sponsor for another jampacked season of all the fishing action you can muster - right across our Kiwi coastlines.
Season eight shapes up to be a beauty of a 13 episode season which includes a visit to the legendary D'urville Island in the Marlborough Sounds, plus some out of the boat action where the boys go freshwater fishing for trout and salmon in the Twizel Canals!
But that’s not all - the crew will be seen regularly in unfamiliar waters, with episodes filmed in a number of exciting new locations around New Zealand, including the Bay of Plenty, Wairarapa, Coromandel, Taranaki, Northland and Raglan.
Over our years of partnership with F&A we’ve seen the boys smash a multitude of achievements, including their nomination for the 2019 New Zealand TV Awards. Fishing and Adventure has continued to raise the bar each year and this year is no different. Viewers will be treated to underwater action shots and beautiful scenery showcasing some of the best fishing spots New Zealand has to offer.
The boys have not only been a big part of the fishing community but also in helping the environment by mucking in at the annual Hirepool Sea Week Beach Clean events in conjunction with Sustainable Coastlines who Scott & Mig are ambassadors for.
So make sure you’re ready for the new season of high energy entertainment as the boys’ adventure around the countryside to bring you the best fishing action in NZ.
Season 8 premiers on TVNZ1, SUNDAY 2 AUGUST at 4.30 pm and will run for 13 episodes - so make sure you tune in and see what nasty consequences the boys will have to do when they don’t land their challenge fish!
