Hirepools commitment to road safety and technology has now taken an important step by introducing eSTOP remote traffic lights to their fleet to make traffic management on road construction sites safer. The eSTOP product allows civil construction businesses to protect manual traffic controllers (Stop & Go Sign Operators) from direct contact with traffic as the remote-controlled traffic lights are controlled by operators who are well off the road.
The eSTOP has undergone extensive testing and development and is designed to move traffic controllers away from the hazard zone. The eSTOP traffic lights have been proven to reduce near misses. eSTOP can be operated as a single unit or as a pair for two-way traffic control by one Traffic Controller via a single handheld control device. A great option for short term projects, variable traffic zones and remote jobs. Your Traffic Controller will love being out of harm’s way and sheltered from the elements!
