Recommended safety equipment

Hearing Protection
To guard against excessive noise and prevent hearing loss, wear earplugs or ear muffs of the appropriate grade when using this equipment.
Eye Protection
Suitable eye protection is required when operating this equipment.
Head Protection
A safety helmet is required when operating this equipment to provide protection from overhead & moving/falling objects. Safety helmets with air muffs and full face visors are also available. Long/loose hair should be tied up or restrained with a hair net.
Hand Protection
Suitable hand protection appropriate to the specific hazards must be worn when using this equipment (e.g. PVC for chemicals, cotton fordirt and dust etc.)
Foot Protection
Firm footwear providing support for the foot and ankle is required with good tread allowing for solid grip on surfaces. Full safety boots should be considered for maximum foot protection.
Shock Protection
Warning - risk of electric shock. Using a residual current device (RCD) to protect the user from electric shock is recommended when using electrical equipment outdoors or in damp and wet conditions.
Breathing Filter
A suitable face mask should be worn when using this equipment. General purpose disposable dust masks protect against low-risk dust and solid based airborne water sprays. Respiratory masks with appropriate filters are required for fumes and most nuisance levelodours. ALL DUST SHOULD BE CONSIDERED AS HAZARDOUS TO YOUR HEALTHAND POTENTIALLY EXPLOSIVE.
